3D NFT Market Connects 3D Features Across Metaverses

MetaMundo seeks to bring three-dimensional art and assets to some major metaverse environments with the launch of its market and non-fungible token (NFT) architecture.

Users of popular metaverses like Decentraland (MANA), Cryptovoxels (CVPA), The Sandbox (SAND) and Spatial (SPAT) will be able to collect and own NFT assets like galleries, luxury villas, concert halls, parks, avatars, vehicles and other creations directly from 3D artists, architects and designers.

MetaMundo has built an NFT architecture on the Ethereum blockchain specifically designed to power 3D files and Metaverse interoperability. Using a flexible metadata structure allows multiple 3D files to be incorporated into a single NFT.

NFTs sold on MetaMundo will come with a set of 3D files compatible with Metaverse platforms, while new 3D files can also be added to a specific NFT. MetaMundo is able to convert and optimize 3D files to create several resources optimized for the metaverse.

Users will be able to preview and interact with the 3D files bundled in each NFT through the MetaMundo Marketplace before making a purchase. MetaMundo co-founder Finn Hansen noted that the platform is looking to launch NFT functionality in different blockchain projects:

“We solve the lack of NFT interoperability with a unique architecture we’ve developed that includes a versatile and extensible NFT metadata framework, supporting multiple versions of 3D files and providing the ability to add new file versions later. to allow for future proofing as 3D technology evolves.

The company has onboarded a number of 3D creators who have done extensive work in both the Metaverse space and the actual art. Dutch artist NFT Dutchtide, American modernist architect Luis Fernandez and Metaverse architect Mila Lolli are the headliners of designers who have partnered with the market.

The first 3D NFT releases of MetaMundo will include the Japanese Zen art gallery inspired by the brutalist architecture of Dutchtide and a luxury oceanfront villa created by Fernandez.
